The main objective is to locate and defeat the dragon before it devastates the city. Players must gather clues, defeat monsters, and collect equipment and allies to increase their chances of success.
Dragon's Wrath is played over a series of turns, beginning with the First Player and then continuing to the left. Each player completes his Hero’s entire turn before the next Hero takes a turn. In this way, play continues clockwise around the table until the game ends.
When the First Player takes his turn, before he performs any actions, he advances the dragon token one space on the dragon track.
Important! The dragon token does not advance on the very first turn of the game.
During a players turn, he must choose one of the following actions and resolve its consequences:
If players encounter monsters or other threats, draw from the Enemy deck and resolve combat using dice rolls. Players can choose to fight, flee, or negotiate based on their character's abilities and the situation.
Combat is resolved using a dice, with results influenced by character stats, equipment, and abilities. Defeating enemies grants experience points and loot, which can be used to upgrade characters.
Some characters can establish campsites, creating a safe haven at the location where it is located..
Players win by successfully tracking down the dragon and defeating it in a final battle. If the dragon reaches the city before being defeated, the players lose.
